No. Every new business gets one 30-day free trial of Starter: 1 restaurant, 1 QR code and up to 10 employees. After the trial a paid subscription is required. We never charge you unless you subscribe.
No. The free trial covers Starter only. Plans for two or more restaurants are paid from day one, and the extra restaurants unlock as soon as your payment is confirmed. If you upgrade during your Starter trial, the trial ends and the paid subscription starts straight away.
If you’ve subscribed to Starter, nothing changes, and your first payment is taken on the day the trial ends. If you haven’t, nothing is deleted: the account becomes read-only and staff check-ins pause until you choose a plan. Billing and support stay available.
One location with its own attendance QR code. Every restaurant on your plan can have one active QR code at a time.
10 per restaurant, shared across the business. A 3-restaurant plan allows 30 active employees in total, spread however you like. Someone who works at two of your restaurants counts once. Inactive employees don’t count.

Paid plans are bought inside the app through Stripe’s hosted checkout, billed monthly in US dollars. Card details go to Stripe, not to ScanRoster.
Nothing is deleted. If you have more restaurants, QR codes or employees than the new plan allows, they keep working, but you can’t add more until you’re within the allowance.
No. Revoking or replacing a code frees its slot, and the new code gets a new link. Attendance history is always kept.
